The departure for Saint Brandon is by boat from Port Louis, the capital of the Republic of Mauritius, at an indicated place and time that will be confirmed to you. The boat trip takes around 24 hours.

Saint Brandon is malaria-free, but it is advisable to have inoculations for Hepatitis and Tetanus, as a precaution. Practising outdoor activities in a remote place like St. Brandon means it is advisable and prudent to bring a complete first aid kit. Please consult your family doctor.

No. Most islands are totally uninhabited, and you will feel safe in every way. Our team will be present on the islands with you. Rest assured that our Team of professional and experienced staff will be at your side and will take care of the bungalows where you will sleep. They will also operate the boats on which you will embark on your voyage of discovery.

We have designed our packages to coincide with the best possible weather although storms and freak weather can, of course, occur at any time. Most of the time, it is hot and sunny throughout the day and cool and pleasant during the evenings.

IS SAINT BRANDON A FAMILY-FRIENDLY DESTINATION?
Being a remote and hard-to-access destination can make Saint Brandon appear not to be family-friendly but, in fact, all the families that have visited Saint Brandon have adapted and actually had a great time.
IS SAINT BRANDON EXCLUSIVELY A FISHING DESTINATION?
No. Over and above the sports fishing activities, Saint Brandon has the most unbelievable and abundant wildlife and scenery. The atoll is an ideal spot for nature lovers. There are many extra activities for when you are not fishing: conservation activities with our conservation guide and bird watching. The light in St. Brandon makes it a photographer’s dream and it is a snorkelling paradise.
CAN I BE CONTACTED IN CASE OF EMERGENCY?
Yes. There are satellite phones and radios on the company transporter boats to and from Mauritius and in the camps. There is always the option of sending messages using the meteorological station or the National Coast Guard posts on Raphaël island which have direct links with the mainland.
