The Raphaël Fishing Company is a Mauritian company incorporated in 1927. Today, it comprises three companies, The Raphaël Fishing Company Ltd., Reel Fresh Ltd., involved in responsible commercial fishing, and Raphael StBrandon Sportfishing Ltd., which manages sustainable catch-and-release fishing.

The Raphaël Fishing Company employs almost 40 Mauritians, the majority of whom are fishermen based in the 13 islands of Saint Brandon under the responsibility of the company.

The Raphaël Fishing Company acquired the rights to Saint Brandon in 1928 which included a Permanent Lease for 13 named islets of the Saint Brandon archipelago. The Permanent Lease was subsequently definitively adjudged as a Permanent Grant in 2008 by Mauritius’ highest appellate court.
